Amphoteric LTD – Crom's Escape | Effective date: 2 March 2026
1. About Us
These Terms govern your use of the mobile game Crom's Escape, provided by Amphoteric LTD ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading or using the Game, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Game.
2. The Game
The Game is provided as a free-to-play mobile application via the Google Play Store.
Features may include:
- Offline gameplay
- Optional online services (cloud save, leaderboards)
- In-app purchases
- Advertising
We may update, modify or improve the Game from time to time.
3. Availability
The Game and online features are provided subject to availability.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
However, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. Digital Content Rights
Under UK law, digital content must:
- Be of satisfactory quality
- Be fit for purpose
- Match its description
If the Game does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with UK consumer law.
5. In-App Purchases
5.1 Payment Processing
All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing.
We do not store payment information.
5.2 Virtual Currency
Virtual currency and digital items:
- Have no real-world monetary value
- Are non-transferable
- Are licensed, not sold
5.3 Refunds
Where digital content is supplied immediately after purchase, your statutory cancellation right may be lost once supply begins, in accordance with applicable law.
This does not affect your statutory rights in cases of faulty or misdescribed digital content.
Refund requests are handled through Google Play.
6. Children
The Game is rated PEGI 3.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising purchases made by minors using their devices.
We do not knowingly encourage children to make purchases.
Advertising shown to users identified as under 13 is configured as non-personalised.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Modify or reverse engineer the Game
- Use cheats, bots, or exploits
- Manipulate leaderboards
- Use the Game commercially
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the Game or other players.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Game remain the property of Amphoteric LTD.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for personal use only.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
Subject to the above:
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of:
- £100; or
- The total amount you have spent on in-app purchases in the previous 12 months.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for breach of these Terms or legal compliance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers may bring proceedings in their country of residence within the UK.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be notified in-app.
Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance.
